Social Ministries

Parish Outreach in conjunction with our St. Vincent de Paul Conference helps to meet the needs of our parishioners: spiritually, financially, and with food needs.

The Sister Patricia Turley, CSJ Food Pantry is supported by the good folks of Sacred Heart.

Consolation Ministry volunteers accompany families both while they prepare for the funeral of a loved one and during the Mass.

Love Lives On Bereavement Support offers monthly gatherings of prayer and conversation for those grieving the loss of a loved one.

The Sunshine Ministry is aimed at keeping vital members of our parish, who may not be able to physically be with us, connected to their faith community.

Martha and Mary teams make monthly visits to homebound parishioners sharing a prayer and spending some me socializing over a treat.

Special Programs such as the Christmas Giving Tree, Thanksgiving Food Offering, Lenten Giving, Easter Food and Baskets, and the Back to School Campaign are possible due to the overwhelming generosity of the Sacred Heart Parishioners.

The Give and Take Boutique is a parishioner supported clothing shop helping to clothe our neighbors in need and those in surrounding communities.

The Biannual Blood Drive is cohosted in May and October by Outreach and The Father Jeremiah J. Reilly Knights of Columbus.

Ministry of Transportation assists homebound parishioners with rides to local medical appointments.

The Respect Life Commi0ee sponsors the Baby Bo9le program to benefit The Life Center and the Spiritual Adoption program.

Heart to Heart Ministry is a program aimed at connecting retired religious with the caring community of Sacred Heart through daily prayer, cards and notes.
